I provide overall health, wellness and lifestyle enhancement coaching services through strategies based in primal health philosophies, for busy working parents that are struggling with hectic schedules but are looking to enhance their family's mental, physical and nutritional well-being.
I was an obese 28 year old first-time dad with moderate high blood pressure, a 2-pack-a-day smoking habit, and I was developing a fairly noticeable gluten allergy that was presenting itself through eczema and gut issues. I wasn't feeling well and I wasn't liking what I was seeing in the mirror. I had fully planned on being a great husband, father and provider but felt like I had let myself and my family down in all of those areas, especially after a rough financial hit in 2008 (you may be familiar with that story).
I definitely tried turning things around. I quit smoking. I'd eat better and get more exercise, just like my doctor told me, and I'd do better for a while but would usually backtrack. I ran, but at 250 lbs on a 5'10" frame, my knees weren't too excited with the prospect. I did stints of strength training with a personal trainer and swam on what may even be considered a regular basis. I would eat my whole grain pastas and breads and keep away from fats, just like my doctor had suggested.
I had hints of getting it right but never really had what I would consider a complete picture until my cousin told me about Mark's Daily Apple in 2012, shortly after I began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). It took me a couple more years before I'd actually read The Primal Blueprint. I'm glad I finally did and even happier when I put the knowledge into practice. I was pretty impressed with how quickly I began to feel better and have more energy, which definitely enhanced my husband and dad skill level! My eczema began to clear up and my blood pressure began to get back to normal levels. I now set at 180 lbs on any given day without more than a few pounds of fluctuation. Ultimately, I'm a happier person in a body that feels capable of living well and does every day.
I've been quietly preaching the gospel of Mark with my fellow BJJ competitors for years. I've always felt my knowledge base was competent for my own uses. My best effort up until recently was to simply recommend a recipe or give The Primal Blueprint to a teammate. I've decided it's time to do more. My goal is to help others embrace the same lifestyle choices I've made, through coaching and education to help them realize what their bodies are capable of.
I have spent too much time in poor physical and mental states and I'd like to make sure family, friends and teammates (actually just about anyone) doesn't struggle in that same place any longer than they need to. This type of change is very much a personal path, but that doesn't mean you have to do it alone.

These are step-by-step phased approaches that are meant to completed in order to bring you into an elevated level of overall health and wellness. Once you've completed all 3 Phases, you may not need me anymore, but if you do I will still be available. Anyone who completes all 3 Phases will also qualify for up to a 25% discount on future hourly coaching sessions.
